New Study Highlights the Role of Rainfall History in Air Pollution Predictions

Editorial Staff · 1 min read

A new study led by researchers from the University of Michigan Engineering reveals that rainfall history is as important as air source in predicting air pollution levels.

This research, which spans 19 years, was conducted in collaboration with the Appalachian Mountain Club and Plymouth State scientists.

The findings suggest that incorporating rainfall history into air quality models could enhance predictions and inform environmental policy.
